Yashika Aannand meets with a horrific car accident; friend dies on the spot

Actress and former Bigg Boss Tamil contestant Yashika Aannand met with an accident on July 25. The actress was on the East Coast Road, Mahabalipuram at 1 am along with her friends when her car rammed into the centre median and toppled into a roadside pit nearby. Sadly, one of her friends Vallichetti Bhavani died on the spot while Yashika suffered serious injuries.

The Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru star’s car was overspeeding when the commuters were shocked to see Yashika’s car ram into the centre median and slip into a pit nearby. People around rushed to help the actress and her friends. The former Bigg Boss Tamil contestant was rushed to the hospital as she suffered major injuries. But, as for her friend Vallichetty Bhavani, people had to wait for the police to arrive as she breathed her last on the spot.

As soon as the police arrived they sent Bhavani’s body to Chengalpet hospital to conduct an autopsy. The police are suspecting a case of drink and drive but the reports are yet awaited as the investigation is going on.

Yashika Aannand is quite a popular model in the south. She has been part of films like Kavalai Vendam, NOTA and Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru. She was in Bigg Boss Tamil Season 2, hosted by Kamal Haasan. During that season, Yashika has revealed she has feelings for co-contestant Mahat Raghavendra. Post Bigg Boss, both were seen in the movie Ivan Than Uthaman.
