Director Riyan Shetty describes the project as deeply personal. He tells us, “Vimukth is a story rooted in my childhood experiences. Growing up, I often grappled with the boundaries set for me. This film is a labour of love, reflecting not just my journey but a universal truth about the importance of freedom. Directing this film has been an emotional and rewarding experience.”
