Rani Mukerji celebrated World Rose Day with cancer-affected children
During the event, Rani interacted with the children, offering them motivation and encouragement. A highlight was their ride in an open bus across the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, which was illuminated in red to honour those affected by cancer. Together, Rani and the children released red and white balloons into the sky, creating a special moment of solidarity. This initiative not only brought joy to the kids but also raised awareness for those fighting against cancer.
Rani Mukerji at the event said “The kids look beautiful in their Rose Day t-shirts and matching caps. I am extremely happy to be spending time with all of you. Thank you so much for inviting me. You all are like little angels. To all the parents present here, I want to say that without your support, your kids would not be able to fight this. I salute each one of you.”
She added “Please continue to stay strong for the kids. I am also a mother, and I understand that only our love and support can give our children the strength they need to overcome this fight. My prayers are with all of you, and I am truly grateful to be here today, especially with these wonderful kids. I am overwhelmed and humbled. Thank you once again for inviting me and for making my day so special.”
