VVKWWV director reveals Mallika Sherawat assumed she was being approached for a dance number

Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video has created a massive buzz among the audience and is considered one of the most anticipated movies of 2024. Helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film takes viewers back to the 90s with its engaging narrative and fun filled roller-coaster situation. The movie stars RajKummar Rao, Triptii Dimri, Tiku Talsania, Vijay Raaz, Mallika Sherawat, and Archana Puran Singh.

Talking about the decision to cast Mallika Sherawat in VVKWWV, director Raaj Shaandilyaa recollects that it was a piece of cake to bring her on board. He also shares how she was eager to do something fresh and exciting. He said, “There was no need to convince her. Woh aayi aur boli, ‘Ok, great character, let’s do it!’ Woh bas kuch interesting ka wait kar rahi thi, kuch aisa jo unko excite kare.”

Raaj elaborated further, saying, “Jab maine unko phone kiya, toh unko laga main dance karane ke liye bula raha hoon. Unhone pucha, ‘Kya hai? Kaunsa gaana hai?’ Main bola, ‘Gaana nahi hai, ek role hai.'”

Fun and chaos begin when their suhaagraat CD gets robbed from their home.
