Gender bender! Ranveer Singh just wore a women’s jacket and made it look cool AF

We can’t possibly find a pedestal high enough for Ranveer Singh’s sartorial picks. He’s one free spirit, quite literally, who believes in a nonchalant display of his feminine silhouettes right from his skinny tapered leggings, his flared skirts, girly girl gladiators to our recent fascination, his salmon pink, glittery jacket. For photographer Rohan Shrestha’s MUD Studio launch, the actor wore a sparkly pink bomber jacket from designer Manish Arora’s Spring 2018 women’s wear collection. Even with all the zig-zag patterns, over-the-top black and gold sequin work, he looked hot AF. A straight steal from a woman’s wardrobe, no pretense, and the man still makes it look cool.

He paired the bubble gum pink Chevron striped number with a perfect all-white base that included a white t-shirt and fitted white churidaar-like chinos. For such a whirlwind of glitz, he needed a pair of shoes that could rise up to the occasion. So, he chose striking intergalactic silver sneakers from Saint Laurent, Dolce & Gabbana that would make even the laziest soul sit up and take notice.

It isn’t really about a man wearing a women’s jacket per se, but Ranveer is spearheading a bigger change. It’s changing the mindset of men and making them less concerned about their masculinity. He’s blurred the gender lines for fashion in Bollywood and proved time and again that gender neutral clothing is the new normal.
