Dhadak promotions: How Janhvi Kapoor is bringing ethnic wear back in trend

Debutante Janhvi Kapoor is winning us over with her style statements! She is killing it with her style every time she is stepping out for the promotions of her upcoming release, ‘Dhadak’. What caught our attention is the Kapoor girl’s choice of outfits! Most of the times, she is dressed in ethnic wear and we are loving it!

For the trailer launch of ‘Dhadak’, Janhvi stunned us in a Manish Malhotra creation which was a bright green Anarkali with long sleeves and a dipped neckline. A touch of vibrancy was added to the ensemble with bold pink pop trims. Her beige strapped sandals and dangling earrings were a perfect match. She completed her look with her hair left open in soft curls.

She kickstarted the promotions of her film in a yellow ensemble by Anushree Reddy. The corset style bodice and the shimmery jacket added a touch of glamour to the outfit. The designer had kept the hemline asymmetrical with a ruffled touch to the chiffon. Janhvi accesorised her outfit with Minerali Store earrings and a ring from Amrapali Jewels.

For the promotions of her debut film in Chandigarh, Janhvi opted for a short, pastel blue Ritika Mirchandani kurta and wore it with matching draped trousers. She accessorised her look with some silver bangles, shoulder-grazing chaandbalis and silver-detailed juttis.

Janhvi left her Jaipur fans bewitched when she landed in the pink city to launch the title track of her debut film with co-star Ishaan Khatter. She was dressed in a long lehenga skirt which had a silver lining with a short sleeveless top. The floral detail on the bodice as well as the lower half of the skirt made her look resplendent.

At the screening of her movie ‘Dhadak’, Janhvi Kapoor was seen in a pink striped maxi dress by Prabal Gurung. She paired it with nude heels and hoop earrings!

Janhvi Kapoor next stepped out in a Punit Balana ensemble. The baby pink halter blouse featuring ivory embroidery, matched with a flowy white lehenga skirt patterned with dainty pink roses. She accessorized her look with thin braids along her hairline, and let her long locks down. The chunky jhumkas and the no makeup look left many impressed with her sense of style.

For her promotional event yesterday, Janhvi wore a black Anamika Khanna ensemble, which was a crop top and an embroidered black skirt. The black outfit with floral embroidery was accentuated with silver earrings and bracelets by Amrapali Jewels. Minimal makeup, one side braided hair and just a touch of kohl added the right hint of glamour to the actress.

‘Dhadak’ is all set to hit the theaters on July 20, 2018.
