Aamir Ali finds love again in actress Ankita Kukreti 4 years after divorce with Sanjeeda Shaikh

Aamir Ali, an actor who transitioned from television to over-the-top (OTT), has admitted to dating Ankita Kukreti four years after splitting from Heeramandi star Sanjeeda Shaikh. Ayra Ali, the daughter of Aamir and Sanjeeda, was born in 2020 through surrogacy. In an interview, the actor revealed that he is happy and has moved on.

Aamir told ETimes, “Everybody deserves love. Of course, someone had to move on before anything happened, and someone is moving on now. I’m in a happy space as I get to know her closely and nicely. It feels different. It feels good. And I’m enjoying this place. I always tell her one thing: Thank you for making me realise I still have a heart. It just started now, almost five months. It’s just the beginning of something.”

For the unversed, Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Shaikh, once a beloved television couple, tied the knot in 2012 after a long courtship. Known for their chemistry on and off-screen, they shocked fans by parting ways in 2021.

Despite their separation, the duo shares a daughter, Ayra, and remains cordial for her upbringing. Following the divorce proceedings, Sanjeeda won their daughter’s custody. In 2022, Aamir revealed that he hadn’t been allowed to meet their daughter for about ten months.
