EXCLUSIVE: Aamir Ali reveals what helped him deal with the negativity around divorce with Sanjeeda Shaikh

Aamir Ali recently delivered a terrific performance as a cop in The Trial: Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhokha. The actor shared screen space with Kajol in the same. Post the release of The Trial: Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhokha, Aamir sat down for an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble. During the candid conversation, Aamir Ali opened up about his controversial divorce with Sanjeeda Shaikh.

Aamir Ali was married to actress Sanjeeda Shaikh. They officially ended their marriage in January last year. However, the ex-couple continue to co-parent their 3-year-old daughter Ayra Ali.

When asked if the divorce had any effect on him and how he dealt with the negativity around it, Aamir said, “That didn’t happen to me. After two months, I went to Goa for a shoot. I was alone in Goa. I think Goa healed me completely. I came back a happier person.” Adding to that, Aamir said that the Goa beaches helped him a lot (laughs).”

When asked about his experience as a single father to daughter Ayra, Aamir chose not to answer. The actor said, “That’s something I don’t like to talk about.”

Furthermore, when asked Aamir how difficult it is to be a divorcee and a single parent in today’s time, he said, “I am away from everything and I am single man. That’s what I am.”

During the candid conversation, Aamir Ali also shared how his idea of love and relationship has changed post divorce with Sanjeeda Shaikh. That’s not all, Aamir also revealed if he is in love or not.

Talking about his latest project i.e. The Trial: Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhokha, it also stars Jisshu Sengupta, Kubbra Sait, Sheeba Chadha, and Alyy Khan. It released on Disney+ Hotstar on July 14.
