‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ actress Nupur Alankar meets with an accident

Television actress Nupur Alankar has been going through tough times. It was recently when the ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ actress shared with a leading daily how the Punjab & Maharashtra Cooperative (PMC) Bank crisis has made her borrow money as well as sell off jewellery in order to run her house. And the latest reports state that Nupur met with an accident on Saturday.

Apart from Nupur even television actors Naveen Saini and Sudha Chandran too have their accounts frozen due to the fraud case going against the PMC Bank. Together these actors decided to bring forth the plight of lakhs of people who are stuck in the same situation. They have been giving interviews and sharing their woes on national television.

Last night while going for one such interview, Nupur’s car met with an accident. The actress was accompanied by Naveen at that time. The actress suffered some bruises. Talking about last night’s accident, Nupur told SpotboyE, “We were headed to TV9 studios when the car ahead of us, suddenly put breaks to avoid crashing into a taxi, which took a right turn without giving an indicator. Our driver also put an emergency brake to stop the car from banging ahead. But the speed was too fast. I have minor bruises on my right leg. Naveen, for a moment, thought he broke his nose but thankfully he is okay.”
