Ali Fazal teases Mirzapur season 3, says ‘Guddu aa rahe hai apne aap’

Mirzapur is one of the most popular crime drama series that first premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2018. The second season of Excel Entertainment’s popular series released in 2020. Now Ali Fazal who plays the role of Guddu Pandit has shared an update on the third season of Mirzapur.

Recently Ali Fazal took to Instagram and shared a picture of his character Guddu Pandit. He announced his prep for the third season.

“And the time begins! Prep, rehearsals, readings. Bring it on. Laathi lakkad nahi, ab neeche se joote aur upar se bandookein fire hongi. Lagao haath kamaao kantaap! Guddu aa rahe hai apne aap (Guddu is coming),” the 36-year-old actor captioned the post.

In the monochrome picture, Ali Fazal is seen sitting in a dilapidated room staring at something with an intense gaze, holding a handgun. The picture created a buzz on social media. Ali’s girlfriend-actress Richa Chadha dropped heart and fire emojis in a comment. Fellow Mirzapur co-star Shweta Tripathi wrote, “Intezaar hai (Waiting).”

On April 28th, Amazon Prime Video India also shared an update on the new season on Instagram. As part of the announcement, the streaming giant shared that Mirzapur will be making its return to the OTT platform for season 3 with the caption “WE ARE SCREAMINGGG!”

‘Mirzapur 3’ also features Pankaj Tripathi, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rasika Dugal in pivotal roles. The crime thriller is all about the power struggle between local don Akhandanand Tripathi aka Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi), and Ali (Guddu Pandit).
