Aniruddh Dave recovers from COVID; discharged from hospital after 55 days

On Friday, Aniruddh Dave shared the good news of being discharged from the hospital, where he was battling Covid-19, after 55 days. Taking to Twitter, Aniruddh shared a picture posing outside the hospital with health care staff and called his release from the hospital an ’emotional moment’. Aniruddh is known for his work in serials like Patiala Babes, Lockdown Ki Love Story. Besides television, he also starred in movies like Shorgul and Teree Sang. He will be seen next in the espionage thriller Bell Bottom alongside Akshay Kumar, Huma Qureshi, and Lara Dutta.

The actor’s team shared a video of him thanking the medical staff at the hospital for looking after him. He even called them the ‘real heroes’. The entire hospital cheered for the actor and posed with him for pictures before he stepped into his car and drove off. “This is a new life and I will never forget the love I got from all of you,” an emotional Anirudh told the doctors and nurses outside the Bhopal hospital.

Reacting to his post, actor Hiten Tejwani tweeted, “God bless you brother …see you soon.” His fans also showered their love on him. A fan said, “Good morning and greetings from London. Great news ever. Please take care and stay safe. Sending you good health and warm wishes.”

Actress Nia Sharma also posted a picture of Aniruddh with the hospital staff and wrote, “Miracles do happen! You made it happen @aniruddh_dave ??✌️ welcome Backkkkkkkkkk to the world. Kudos to the Doctors and team?(sic).”

Earlier this month, he had posted a selfie on Twitter and shared that he feels like a ‘newborn ‘ and wants to practice walking. He also wrote that he wasn’t allowed to talk much given his lungs were still recovering. “And the battle is On this 36th day.oxygen is on.But ya On the road to recovery of lungs.Dr.goenka said dont talk much bt may do reply n can be in touch with loved ones,may watch films shows,new life,like a new born wl practice walking now,selfie toh banti hai #gratitude Thank you u all(sic),” he wrote.
