Kya shaadi shaadi? Ankit Gupta REACTS to wedding rumours with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta are one of the most popular pairs in the TV industry. Priyanka and Ankit, popularly known as PriAnkit by their fans, are always grabbing attention for many reasons. Recently, Priyanka Choudhary and Ankit Gupta attended an event together and reacted to the wedding rumours. They duo made it clear that they are good friends.

Ankit and Priyanka break silence on marriage rumours

For the uninitiated, rumours of Priyanka and Ankit started after she shared a photo of herself wherein she is flaunting a ring. A part of her caption read, “It’s a YES!.” It was a brand collaboration. However, Priyanka and Ankit’s fans got excited and thought they are taking their relationship to the next level.

At a recent event, they were asked about the marriage rumours. Ankit said, “Main toh humesha yahi bolta hun ki hum dono aapko aise ache nahi lagte? Kitne khush rehte hai. Kya shaadi shaadi? (I always tell y’all that don’t you like us like this? We are always so happy like this. What marriage marriage?).” Adding to that, Priyanka said, “PriAnkit fans and humare jitney bhi fans hai, they were quite happy with the ring pic but unhone shayad baad me caption padha hoga (PriAnkit fans were very happy with the ring pic but later they might’ve read the comments). But we are very good friends guys and that is it.”

Priyanka and Ankit participated in Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss 16 together. The duo’s adorable moments in the show made their fans’ hearts flutter. Since then, many want them to get married.

Ankit Gupta reveals why Priyanka and he can’t be together

Earlier, in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Ankit had said that his thought process is different. He had told us, “Priyanka is very family oriented, she wants a family, she wants to get married, she wants to have it all. I am somebody who does not believe in the institution of marriage. I plan not to get married ever. So, it will be very selfish of me to expect something like this from somebody whom I have feelings for or who has feelings for me, so expecting like that from some would be very selfish. When we know those things will never happen, why hamper the beautiful bond of friendship because of selfishness?”
