Ankita Lokhande’s husband Vicky Jain reveals he is staying as a ‘ghar jamai’ at her place- Here’s why

Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain got hitched on December 14 in an intimate yet grand wedding in the city. The wedding pictures of the two seemed straight out of a Dharma movie as they looked extremely beautiful. After they got married, Ankita and Vicky are still staying at the former’s house. In an interview, Vicky Jain revealed that he is still staying as ‘Ghar Jamai’ at Ankita’s place. Why? Well, as per the couple, they have bought a new place for themselves but due to delay in renovation work, they still couldn’t move out from the current place.

Jain told ET Times, “We had bought a flat and the repairing work, renovation and everything couldn’t be completed on time because of the pandemic. It got delayed and is still pending so we couldn’t shift to our new house. I am still staying as a ‘ghar jamai’ at Ankita’s place (laughs). Whenever I visit Mumbai I’ve been staying at Ankita’s house. So this question should be asked to Ankita about how she feels because she has been sharing her house, her cupboard with me for the last two years.”

The Pavitra Rishta actor feels that their real-life will begin once they both start living together under one roof as husband and wife in their own house. “When we start making our own house that will be the beginning of our journey as a couple. I know I am going to be a very good housewife and I will handle everything properly. I don’t have any problems sharing my life and everything else with Vicky,” Lokhande said.

Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain are currently one of the Jodis in Star Plus’ Smart Jodi. They even got married in the same bridal costume on the show, reliving the moments once again.
