Ankita Lokhande is excited as she announces her first film as a lead with Randeep Hooda in Swatantrya Veer Savarkar

Ankita Lokhande announced her first Bollywood movie as a lead actor in Randeep Hooda starrer Swatantrya Veer Savarkar. The actress made a post on her Instagram and announced her next project. She expressed her excitement for the same. Lokhande said she ‘can’t wait’ to start working on the film.

The actress took to her Instagram and share a scintillating photo of hers. She shared a black and white photo of her posing elegantly. Ankita channels her inner Marilyn Monroe in the announcement photo, with her perfectly styled hair.

Lokhande made the announcement and wrote, “This news which I have been waiting to announce! My first film as a lead #Swatantryaveersavarkar & I cannot wait to start this beautiful journey!”

The actress further mentioned how it all wouldn’t have been possible without the help of her friend, Sandip Singh. She wrote, “This wouldn’t have been possible without you @officialssandipsingh. You have been my biggest support and the best friend one could ever ask for. Your journey has been commendable Producer Saab.” Ankita further thanked producer Anand Pandit for the opportunity. Lokhande went on to heap praise on Randeep Hooda, calling him the ‘most talented actor and lauded the ‘director Saab’.

Ankita received immense love and wishes from her friends and colleagues as she announced her next project. Actor Mona Lisa took to the comments section and wrote, “Congratulations baby… so happy to know this..,” Arti Singh commented, “Babyyy god bless u.” Kushal Tandon said, “Super happy for you ankiiiiii congrats we celebrate this tomorrow.”

Randeep Hooda also made a post and announced the new characters of his directorial. The film Swatantrya Veer Savarkar is slated to release on May 26, 2023 on the occasion of Veer Savarkar’s 140th birth anniversary.

Work-wise, Ankita Lokhande made her Bollywood debut with the movie Manikarnika. Her performance in the film was well-received and appreciated. The actress also featured in Baaghi 3.
