Ankita Lokhande married the love of her life, businessman Vicky Jain in an intimate wedding ceremony in December 2021. The couple is happily married and never fail to impress netizens with their mushy videos and adorable photos. This celebrity jodi became the first guests on the third season of Bollywood Bubble’s chat show, Chemistry 101. In a candid conversation with us, Ankita and Vicky spoke at length about their love story, their wedding and the fights between then.
Ankita Lokhande’s first meeting with husband Vicky Jain
In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, the actress opened up about her first meeting with her husband. She recalled the first time she met Vicky and how they landed up falling in love with each other. Ankita Lokhande revealed she met her husband Vicky Jain at a party in 2011, for the time. She, along with Vicky disclosed details further, as well.
Recalling the first time she met Vicky, Ankita said, “There was this Pakistan-India match happening in some club, in 2011, at 25-26 age, we met. We just met like, there was no chemistry.”
Vicky added, “As in an acquaintance. So, I knew somebody and they knew somebody. And we all were happening to be there on the same day.”
Lokhande further shared, “Like he had his girlfriend at that point of time.”
She continued, “Yeah, so we met in 2011. India vs Pakistan match tha. Aur ye table apni book karke isne sab ko invite kiya tha. Hum bhi chale gaye the. Aur phir wahi, Vicky Jain was Vicky Jain (The India Vs Pakistan match was going on. And, he had booked his table and invited everyone. I also went there. And, then there, Vicky Jain was Vicky Jain).“
Furthermore, talking about her first impression of Vicky, Ankita revealed “Mera impression sach batau ‘Yeh bohot paisa paisa, paise wale tha na’. Toh mujhe lagta tha ki yeh bohot show off kar raha hai har baar. Like ‘Hi, I’m Vicky Jain. This is that and umm’. (Honestly, my first impression of him was ‘He does a lot of money money, because he was rich’. So I felt he does a lot of show off.)”
The actress continued, “Mera Vicky kabhi dost nahi tha, first of all. Hum kabhi dost nahi the. Matlab Vicky bohot decent. He will never come to me, talk to me, or flirt. No! Aur isko, actually mujhse darr lagta tha. He literally used to call me Bijlee. Toh yeh mujhse na thoda door rehta tha. (Vicky was never my friend, first of all. We were never friends. Means, Vicky is very decent. He will never come to me, talk to me, or flirt. No! And, Vicky actually used to get scared of me. He literally used to call me Bijlee (Lightning). So, he used to maintain a distance from me).”
