Annup Sonii recently spoke to Bollywood Bubble about how he was close to Sushant and knew him since he was 21. The ace actor has spoken about the whole buzz around SSR’s death and what he thinks of the same.
When asked about his opinion on the whole hullabaloo around Sushant Singh Rajput’s death and his fans requesting for a CBI inquiry into it, Annup Sonii didn’t hold himself back. He said, “What I feel is that that police has been on it for over a month now. I am sure they’re doing their job to the best of their capabilities. I knew Sushant personally and used to know him very well. The first-ever play that Sushant did on stage was under the direction of my wife Juhi. I came to know him via her only. We knew him since he was 21. After his death, for almost 4-5 days we were both in shock. Even today I am unable to see his pictures. Whenever I think of him I just ask myself why, why did it happen! But yes, what has happened, has happened and you’ve to accept the reality. But my point is that please trust that police has done their job. They’re still doing their jobs and if there is anything that is to be investigated, they will do that. But the whole matter has been made into an unnecessary issue, I feel.”

Talking further on the whole situation, Annup Sonii added, “I feel it’s a very sad situation what has happened. I feel sad even while talking about it. I have told this before also, there is always a lesson to be learnt from all of this. I always tell this to budding actors that if you’re coming to this industry, you need to have a heart and mind of steel. You can’t have a fragile heart and mind in this industry because this industry is very different from other industries. Here immense success can come to you overnight, and so can your downfall.”
We must say, the whole situation has been given a very proper insight by Annup who has been in the film and television industry for over 23 years now. We too hope, just like Annup said, the police are doing their job, let’s stand by them to come up with the truth, as there is no point in taking names and saying that there is something wrong with this industry, as it’s always functioned like this, and there would hardly ever be a massive change in its way of functioning.
Let’s all honour Sushant by watching his last film ‘Dil Bechara’ and making sure that it shines so bright that even he has to take notice of it from heaven. Stay glued to Bollywood Bubble for the movie’s review in some time.
