Anupamaa actor Paras Kalnawat’s father passes away after suffering a massive heart attack

Anupamaa actor Paras Kalnawat’s father passed away on Saturday. He breathed his last after suffering a massive heart attack. Paras was shooting for Anupamaa when the incident took place.

According to the Times of India report, Paras rushed to the hospital as soon as he received a call from his mother. However, his father had passed away by the time he reached.

The same report also stated that Paras’ co-stars Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey also rushed to the hospital as soon as they learned about his father. A source told the daily, “Paras got a call from his mother who was crying on the phone. She informed him that his father had collapsed in the lift and that he was being taken to the hospital. Paras rushed to the hospital but by the time he reached there, his father had passed away. His co-actors Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey are with him at the hospital, along with other cast and crew members.”

The shooting of Anupamaa was stalled for a few hours and everyone on the set are still trying to digest the news.

A few weeks back, Paras had tested positive for Coronavirus. Back then speaking about his father, the actor had told TOI, “Thankfully, my dad, who is not only a diabetic but also had an angiography sometime back, has tested negative and that’s a big relief.” Apart from Anupamaa, Paras has featured in shows like Mariam Khan Reporting Live, Dil Hi Toh Hai 2, Meri Durga and Laal Ishq to name a few.
