Anupamaa director Rajan Shahi pens a heart-touching birthday wish Rupali Ganguly: You’ve made us all so proud

It wouldn’t be wrong to say, Rupali Ganguly is the most-loved actress on Television right now. Best known for playing Monisha in Sarabhai VS Sarabhai, Rupali left everyone startled as Anupamaa. She began her journey as Anupamaa in July 2020, and within days became the star among all. With her scintillating performance and acting skills, Rupali managed to tug millions of hearts. Today, April 5, is a special day for Rupali Ganguly as she celebrates her birthday.

Taking to his Instagram handle Rajan Shahi expressed his feelings for his ‘Anupamaa’ aka Rupali Ganguly in a loving note. He mentioned how he is proud of her, and how she has touched many lives with her performance.

Nobody could have played Anupamaa better than you in this entire industry. You have raised your bar of ‘real performance’ in Indian TV which is going to be difficult to match in the coming times,” Rajan Shahi wrote.

Sharing how Rupali is the epitome of love, he added, “Your love, care, concern, dedication not only to your work but your family, friends, and especially your compassion, dedication and love towards the ‘bacchas’ you adopt and take care of is exemplary. Over this one year have been really impressed and touched how beautifully you care for your loved ones as a mother, wife, daughter, sister, daughter-in-law, friend… the list is endless, that has been my biggest learning with you.”

Rajan ji shared that Rupali has not only made people around her proud, but also her family. “You have really made all of us so proud, especially your dad legendary director Anil Ji, your guardian angel. He must be so happy smiling at you today that you took forward is the brilliant legacy of creativity, sensitivity, simplicity as a maker in the industry so brilliantly,” he wrote.

Though is the birthday of our Aupamaa aka Rupali Ganguly, she cannot celebrate it. The actress has tested positive for COVID 19. ‘So this year is a different birthday for you due to COVID but the love, regards and blessings remain the same. And the highest regards and respect for being the best support you have. Best wishes and congrats to Ashwin and Rudransh too for this day. Looking forward to meeting you soo post our quarantine period with all our partners in crime in Anupamaa (Hahaha). Happy Birthday again my COVID Partner, my Anupamaa,” the director concluded his long and loving birthday note.
