Anupamaa is one of the finest and most-watched shows on Indian Television right now and its ever-rising TRPs are proof. The show is loved for its progressive and real-life storyline. Anupamaa and Vanraj’s turbulent relationship has held everyone’s attention, and now finally the former has taken the big step. Anupamaa and Vanraj’s are on their way to part ways officially, and their court proceedings have finally begun.
However, before going ahead with the divorce, the couple met a divorce counsellor, who tried to mend their differences. While Vanraj was apprehensive to take the call, Anupamaa is firm on her decision to get separated. The counsellor tried to bury the hatchet between the couple, as they’ve spent 25 long years together, and have three grown-up children.
The counsellor suggested that the couple must re-think their decision of parting ways, and ponder over reconciliation even if there is the slightest chance to be together. Moreover, the counsellor also explained to Anupamaa how Vanraj out of anger tried to prove that she is mentally unstable, but at the end of it, took the blame back. However, Anupamaa sticks to her decision and firmly says that she wants a divorce from Vanraj and nothing else. The counsellor highlights that the couple still care for each other, and must give their marriage a second chance.
Later, Vanraj also accepts the mistakes that he has made. While he asks Anupamaa to forgive him, she denies calling it ‘cheating.’ After hearing both their opinions, the counsellor asks Anupamaa and Vanraj to sign the divorce papers and move ahead with the proceedings.
