Anupamaa’s Madalsa Sharma aka Kavya OPENS UP on Bigg Boss, casting couch and hubby Mahaakshay’s reaction to show

Madalsa Sharma, who is best known for her role as Kavya in a daily soap, Anupamaa. She is now a household name with Anupamaa trending as the number 1 show. In an interview with ETimes TV, she recently opened up on several topics including hate messages, casting couch and if she was offered Bigg Boss. When asked about her overall experience for Anupamaa to which she said that it is an amazing feeling for her to be a part of the show. She is very happy and blessed to be a part of this project. Since day 1 of being a part of Anupamaa, she’s been thrilled and the excitement, the journey continues beautifully.

When prodded about if she receives any hate messages to which she replied saying that social media is completely free and anyone can do anything. She does receive hate messages but few. She also revealed that she also gets a lot of positive reactions for her character. She was also asked about casting the couch and if she ever faced any issues. To which the actress said.”Being a girl or in today’s times, being a guy, both are equally scary. In any profession, be it an actress or a corporate firm, wherever you go, for a female, there are going to be men around you. Sometimes, you come across people who are probably a little more interested in things that you are not at all willing to offer as a person, as an actor, as an employee, it’s your choice.”

“Good and bad things go hand in hand but at the end of the day, nobody can take away your choice from you. People can try to influence you but getting or not getting influenced are two drastically different things. Personally, whenever I have felt uncomfortable in anybody’s presence or during a meeting, what to do? Just get up and walk out of that door. Nobody’s going to stop me or close the door and not let me go anywhere.”

She also revealed how her hubby Mahaakshay aka Mimoh watches Anupamaa every single day. After every episode, he even gives her his feedback. Her mother-in-law (Yogita Bali), her mom, and dad, also watch the show every day and they all love everything about Kavya.

When asked about participating in Bigg Boss, she replied, “Yes, I have been approached for Bigg Boss in the past but whenever I have got that opportunity, somehow I have been involved in other commitments. She added, “But God knows in the future, I don’t know, maybe. These are things that are written in destiny. If it’s meant to be, it’ll happen sooner or later. And, why only Bigg Boss, there are so many amazing reality shows and I would love to be a part of a reality show as and when I can.”
