Ashish Chowdhry lost his friend Raj Kaushal on Wednesday, June 30. He was seen supporting Raj’s wife, Mandira Bedi, during Kaushal’s final journey. The two have been friends for a long time and their families are also very close. In his note, Ashish called Raj his big brother who supported him like his elder sister Monica, who he lost in the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.
Ashish Chowdhry shared pictures with him on Instagram along with an emotional note. He wrote, “My big brother, my guiding light, my happy quotient, my pamper-me-lots person, is gone. My brother who supported me fiercely like my sister Monica who I also lost, is gone. But yet, he’s filled positivity and gratitude real hard in me. He’s taught me well. To survive any storm. And I’ll do the same today. For him. I love you forever, my Rajiee. Until then my bro. Until we meet again (sic).”
