Asim Riaz: I got attacked by assailants on the highway and had a ligament tear

In August this year, ‘Bigg Boss 13’ first runner-up Asim Riaz was allegedly mugged on the streets while he was cycling. In a video, he shared visuals of his injuries. He had injuries on both his legs, his arm, and his back.

He said in the video, “I was cycling right now. I had some guys coming in on the bike and hit me from behind. Not from the front. Everything is cool. I still don’t give up.”

Recently, we had an exclusive interview with Asim and asked him about the update on the incident, to which he said, “It was on a highway and there were no cameras and I was on a cycle. I had a ligament tear but I am recovering now. I went to the police and things were under control. It was more my health I was looking forward to that I should be fine.”

Post his stint in ‘Bigg Boss 13’, Asim appeared in many music videos like ‘Dil Ko Maine Di Kasam’, ‘Kalla Sohna Nai’, ‘Khayal Rakhya Kar’ and the recent release was ‘Veham’.

There are also reports of him being offered a film with Salman Khan. On this Asim said, “We are working on it. Hopefully, next year things will come out very nicely.”
