Asim Riaz opens up about his financial struggles; says, “I have been through a mess in life”

Asim Riaz rose to fame after his stint on ‘Bigg Boss 13’. He has worked in a few movies before but the model-actor revealed that his journey was not easy at all. Asim struggled to commute in the city and it was a messy situation. The actor almost had to return home as well but he fought through.

On his 27th birthday i.e on July 13, Asim went live on his Instagram handle to thank his fans for their wishes. Although he said, “I actually don’t celebrate birthdays. I am not a birthday person. This time it was special because of all that I have achieved. I am happy and working hard.”

Later he motivated his fans to work hard in life and said, “Don’t settle for less, let people laugh at your dream. Let people go if they want to but do what your heart desires. If I can do it, you can do it too.”

Asim further went on to reveal that he struggled during his audition days. “I have been through a mess in life, but I was confident I will get through the difficult time. Back in 2016-17, I had no money to even hire a taxi and had to ask for a lift from people. When I didn’t get a lift, I used to walk to auditions. I never thought of returning home. Today, I am sitting in a BMW because I never gave up,” he shared.

Post ‘Bigg Boss 13’ where he was the first runner up, Asim featured in a few music singles. He was last seen in the music video ‘Khyaal Rakhya Kar’ along with girlfriend Himanshi Khurana.
