Was Asim Riaz’s ‘people get over loved ones soon’ comment directed at Shehnaaz Gill? BB13 runner up reacts

On Monday, Asim Riaz had to face the wrath of Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gil’s fans for his tweet as they felt that it was targeted towards Shehnaaz. His tweet read, “Just saw few dancing clips … seriously people get over loved ones so soon Clapping hands sign.. Kya baat…kya baat..…. #Newworld”. His tweet was posted hours after Shehnaaz’s dance videos went viral. Asim didn’t mention any name in the tweet, but as the timing matched, netizens felt that he took a dig at Shehnaaz. “SHAME ON ASIM RIAZ” started trending on Twitter as several users slammed Asim using the hashtag. Actor Karenvir Bohra also bashed him without taking his name.

The Bigg Boss 13 runner-up has now given a clarification after facing backlash. In his latest tweet, Asim wrote, “Guys I got your attention and I think I need to clear this now..I lost one of my good friend last month from jammu and few of my friends from the same group are partying Ryt now in Goa..so I was actually telling them not who you all are assuming and remember if i wanna say anything I have those guts to come up say it directly…” He also wrote not to target him.

Sidharth Shukla’s passed away on September 2, 2021. His untimely demise sent shockwaves across the nation. Asim, who was very close to Shukla was heartbroken by his death. Pics of him sitting alone in the rain, outside the crematorium went viral.
