‘Balika Vadhu’ actress Anjum Farooki welcomed a baby girl on August 28, 2020. She and her husband Saqib Syed have named their daughter Haneya Syed. Sharing a close up picture of her daughter’s hands, Anjum wrote, “Welcome to the world lil girl. Meet my daughter Haneya Syed 28.08.2020” with an angel emoji.

Anjum Farooki and Saqib Syed got hitched in 2013 and then she quit acting. Her husband works in the navy. After her marriage, while talking to Times of India, Anjum said that she misses facing camera, but acting in a daily soap was not feasible for her.

Anjum Farooki had started her career as a reporter for a web portal and then she made her acting debut with ‘Aapki Antara’. She became a household name with her character Gauri in ‘Balika Vadhu’.

Amid this pandemic, many TV celebs have embraced motherhood. Actresses like Smriti Khanna, Shikha Singh, Ekta Kaul, and others have become mothers.
