Benafsha Soonawalla finally spills the beans on why she kept her affair with Priyank Sharma a secret

Priyank Sharma and Benafsha Soonawalla were the contestants in ‘Bigg Boss 11’. They grew closer on the show and after years post the show, they made their relationship Instagram official. In a recent interview, Benafsha has opened up on why they kept their relationship under wraps for a long time. She told Times of India, “I didn’t think people would understand back then. But then I felt I have to choose myself and my loved ones over other people. It makes sense to me right now so I did it.”

She further said, “It feels great and I’m super happy that people are appreciating it so much. I hope this continues and people can see how amazingly pure this bond is. I just hope that everything works out well. I feel now I have given so much to this and so has he. People have let go of the misunderstandings and misconceptions they had and started appreciating us together. I am really overwhelmed by the love.”

Earlier, Priyank too had told the same portal, “We took a lot of time to work on the relationship and didn’t make it public earlier because we wanted our space and privacy. Also, in the current situation, there is a lot of uncertainty about the future and that made us realise that life is too short to keep something so beautiful private anymore.”

Recently, in a live session with India Forums, Priyank opened up about his relationship with Benafsha. He said, “Benafsha and I were actually seeing each other since ‘Bigg Boss’, but a lot of people didn’t know about it. We didn’t ever want to come out till the time there was some surety and we were figuring ourselves out. And I must say, it’s been a good 2.5 years. We found each other inside the BB house and wanted to take our time to make it tighter as a relationship.”

Priyank was earlier in a relationship with ‘Splitsvilla’ fame Divya Agarwal and Benafsha was dating Varun Sood. Now, Divya and Varun are seeing each other.
