‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai’ actor Aasif Sheikh spills the beans on his birthday plan

There are very few actors in the entertainment industry who are able to enthral the audience equally no matter what the platform is. From hit films to popular television shows, Aasif Sheikh has proved that he is a gifted actor and we all are blessed to have him.

The ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai’ is celebrating his birthday today. Read on to know how Aasif is planning to mark this special day.

Working on television’s most popular sit-com ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai’ is quite hectic and hence the actor couldn’t celebrate his birthday with his family in the last five years. But this year is going to be different, as Aasif has planned to have a relaxed birthday with his family. “After five years of working birthdays, this year I am on leave to spend this special day of my life and with my family,” Aasif told IANS.

Further revealing what all he is planning to do on his special day, the actor shared, “I shall be spending my day watching old movies with them and catch up on some new ones as well. Not to forget the scrumptious delicacies prepared by my loving wife, hoping that it is my favourite combo of Yakhni pulao and kheer. I will be ending my day with a live session on Instagram for my supportive fans who have always been there for me at every step of the way, so there is no way I would celebrate this special day without them.”

Before being bitten by the acting bug, Aasif was contemplating making a career in cricket or hotel management. But destiny had something else planned for him and we are glad that he chose acting as his profession. “When I was young, I was contemplating between my favourite sport of cricket or hotel management as career options. Later, when few of my friends introduced me to the theatre, I held on to it, and since then there has been no looking back. I have been graced by God, as I have shared the platform with great performers and talented actors,” said the ‘Bharat’ actor.

On the work front, Aasif continues to entertain the audience as Vibhuti Narayan in ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai’. And on the silver screen, he was last seen in Salman Khan’s ‘Bharat’.
