Bharti Singh receives BACKLASH for schooling a man to wear a mask but NOT wearing one; Watch Video

Bharti Singh recently schooled a man for not wearing his mask properly, but in turn, received backlash from netizens. Why do you ask? It so happened the ace comedienne stepped out to shoot on Wednesday amid the second wave of COVID pandemic. While walking towards the sets of a show, Bharti Singh snapped at a man for now wearing his mask appropriately. However, she did not realise that she herself has forgotten to wear one.

A video of Bharti, dressed up in a pink dress, all prepped up for shoot has taken the internet by storm. In the clip, Bharti asks a man to wear his mask properly on his face as she moves ahead. But, in a rather comical turn of events, she realises that while the man was at least wearing a mask, she was not.

“Mask lagaiye (Wear a mask),’ Bharti is heard telling a man in the video. The man seems surprised by Bharti’s comment and goes on to adjust his mask. However, tables turn within seconds, and Bharti quickly fathoms that she is not wearing a mask herself. She then even tries to cover her face with an end of her long dress as the shutterbugs shoot her.

“Oh, sorry. Mera hi nahi hai (I am not wearing a mask myself),” Bharti quips in the video. A photographer can also be heard telling Bharti that she scared the elderly man with the gesture. While some social media users found Bharti’s gesture fun-loving, others slammed her for preaching something she is not following.

She received backlash from users for merely teaching others about following COVID guidelines but not adhering to them herself. “Pele khud mask pehno,” a user comment. Another angry and upset user expressed, ‘Mumbai is gone inro lockdown coz of brainless ppl like this who preach to others but don’t practise themselves. Wear a goddamn mask yourself.”
