These days ‘Bigg Boss 14’ is creating a buzz. Like every year, this year too, fans of the show are excited about the 14th season of the most controversial reality show. Given the current situation of the pandemic, the makers seemed to have brought some changes in the format of this season.
As per a report in Pinkvilla, this season contestants won’t be paid weekly and also eliminations will be on basis of hygiene and temperature checks of the contestants.
The portal quoted a source saying, “While every year contestants get paid weekly, this season contestants will be signed on a pre-decided budget and won’t be paid weekly. Due to the financial crunch, the show will have 5 popular faces with the lesser-known ones. Given the high amount of uncertainty involved, if in any situation the reality show is stalled in between, the production won’t pay for the episodes which didn’t happen. A contestant can be eliminated basis of their hygiene, and their temperatures will be checked on a daily basis. If a contestant falls ill, he will be disqualified, but the show won’t pay them. Contestants with good immunity will only be taken.”
Earlier, in a report by Mumbai Mirror, actors like Vivian Dsena, Nia Sharma, Adhyayan Summan and Rajeev Sen are to participate on the show. But Adhyayan and Rajeev have denied the reports.
‘Bigg Boss 14’ is likely to return in September this year.
