Bigg Boss 16’s Ankit Gupta breaks silence on suffering from depression as he reacts to Tunisha Sharma’s death

On December 24, actress Tunisha Sharma’s death sent shockwaves across the television industry. She was working for the television show Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul. Sharma, 20, reportedly committed suicide at her co-star and boyfriend Sheezan Khan’s makeup room on the sets. He has been arrested for allegedly abetting her suicide. Tunisha’s last rites will be performed today, (December 27). Celebs from the TV industry have mourned the demise of the Ali Baba actress. Bigg Boss 16 fame actor Ankit Gupta, who recently got evicted from the reality show also condoled the death of the young actress. While mourning her demise, Gupta also revealed that he suffered depression in the past.

Ankit Gupta said, “This is very shocking. Somebody who was just 20 has committed suicide. I have been through a phase of depression. I can understand and connect to this. Ek moment hota hai. Vo moment paas hojaye ya uss moment mein aap kisi se baat karo aur vo aapko samjha paaye, toh vo ek moment nikal jaaye fir itna bada decision aap life ka nahi loge. It is very sad. No matter what happens in life, your life and your parents should be your priority. Aur kisi cheez ke liye aap apni life nahi le sakte ho.”

He added, “Please understand. Take care of your mental and physical health. This is very important”.

As per reports, Tunisha Sharma’s mortal remains have been brought home. Her funeral will be held today at 3 PM.
