Bigg Boss 17: After Ankita Lokhande, Manasvi Mamgai gets career-shamed by Samarth Jurel

It is the third week of Bigg Boss 17 and it has successfully attracted the audience towards the game of Dil, Dimaag and Dum. In the previous week, Samarth Jurel and Manasvi Mamgai were the wild card contestants who entered the house and made it more entertaining. Yesterday, the nominations for the third week took place and was loaded with disagreement as well as arguments. During this, Samarth Jurel found himself in hot water as he made a demeaning remark against Manasvi Mamgai.

Samarth Jurel makes a derogatory remark against Manasvi Mamgai

From the time Samarth and Manasvi entered the BB 17 house as wildcard contestants, the former kept taking inappropriate jabs at the latter. Referring to Manasvi’s previous work in Bollywood, Samarth used the phrase ‘geeli scene’. For the unversed, Manasvi had played a bold role in one of her movies and had to create a bold scene for the same. The comment made by Samarth was made in a derogatory manner which career-shamed Manasvi Mamgai.

During the nominations, Manasvi stated, “Starting se unhone voh gilli gilli baat ki and I let it go. Uske baad se zyada hogaya that. Muje gussa aaya aur muje laga ki yeh muje deliberately derogative way mein portray karna chah rahe the.” When Manasvi was asked to elaborate on it, Manasvi shared that she had to play a bold role in one of her movies. She said that she was kidnapped and the kidnappers were throwing water at her. As it was a bold scene, Samarth had been constantly speaking about it. Manasvi stated that he wanted to demean her and his intention was bad.

Further, Samarth justified and defended himself saying that he was just trying to compliment her performance. Now, the nominated contestants of Bigg Boss season 17 week 3 are Sana Khan, Samarth Jurel, Arun Mahashetty, Manasvi Mamgai and Isha Malviya.

When Ankita faced career-shaming

Previously, the Pavitra Rishta actress Ankita Lokhande was career-shamed when Khanzaadi and Ankita indulged in a heated argument. During the argument, Khanzaadi had made a comment on the profession of TV actors that had left Ankita Lokhande fuming. After this, several celebrities came out to support Ankita. Some of which included Rashami Desai, Kamya Panjabi, and Hina Khan among others. Well-known producer Ekta Kapoor also supported Ankita Lokhande and called her the best lead actor.
