Ahead of entering the show, Mannara was recently in the headlines for a kissing controversy with director AS Ravi Kumar. During the promotion of her film Thiragabadara Saami, the director kissed her forcibly on the cheek and his act drew flak. The actress has now reacted to debate after the video went viral on social media at Bigg Boss 17 stage.

When she was asked about the controversy, the actress clarified that ‘There was no harmful intention behind the director’s kiss. He was just excited as they were meeting after a long time and the two of them had grown closer as friends during their time together.’
Well, this is not the first time the actress has opened up about it. She took to her Instagram handle and addressed the kissing controversy. She shared the video from the promotional event and wrote, “Didn’t know that the promotion of my film would take an unexpected turn. Everything I wanted to express is already covered in the video above. I kindly request media outlets to respect my need for space; I’m not ready to share further details at this moment.”
