Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss is one of the most awaited reality shows on television. While the Bigg Boss OTT 2 recently ended, speculations around season 17 have already begun. As per the latest reports, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Shailesh Lodha will be a part of Bigg Boss 17.

Is Shailesh Lodha a part of Bigg Boss 17?

Talking about his participation, neither the actor nor the makers have spoken about it. The speculations are on the basis of an update shared by a Bigg Boss fan page. Apart from Shailesh, Monika Bhadoriya is also expected to be a part of this season. For those unversed, they shared screen space in the popular sitcom TMKOC. While Shailes essayed the titular role of Taarak Mehta, Monika played Bawri.

Shailesh Lodha and Asit Modi feud

The TMKOC actor was recently all over the news as he had sued the producer and makers of the show for not clearing his dues. He even won the lawsuit. During an interview, he opened up about the legal battle and said, “This fight was never about the money. It was about seeking justice and self-respect. I feel like I have won a battle and I’m happy that the truth has prevailed.“

Reacting to his claims, Asit Modi had slammed him and confirmed that he never won the case. A part of his note on Twitter read, “Shailesh Lodha should stop spreading wrong information about the recently concluded court case. To put things on record, Shailesh Lodha had refused to complete his relieving formalities and sign the exit documents. Pending which we at Neela Film , were unable to clear his dues. M/s Neela film had even deducted and paid the TDS on his dues as soon as his invoice was received. We had even prepared a demand draft towards his dues.“

About Bigg Boss 17

The upcoming season of the Salman Khan-hosted show is expected to commence in September-October. As per reports, the theme this time will be couples vs singles. However, several potential contestant names are doing rounds online including Sachin Meena, Seema Haider, Munawar Faruqui, Jiya Shankar, Abhishek Malhan, Sourav Joshi, and Anurag Dobhal, among others.
