‘Bigg Boss’ contestants who earned more than the winners of that season

With just a few days to go for the grand premiere of Salman Khan’s celebrity reality game show ‘Bigg Boss‘ season 13, everyone is eagerly looking forward to watching the show.

‘Bigg Boss’ has already become the talk of the town for its speculatory contestant list. However, the final list of contestants will be unveiled on September 29. On a related note, did you know that Hina Khan, Rimi Sen, Khali and few other celebrity contestants bagged more money than the winners of the respective seasons?

Well, that’s true and here we bring you the list of contestants who earned more than the winners.

List of most expensive celebrity contestants on ‘Bigg Boss’ so far

Bigg Boss Season 11: Hina Khan

Hina Khan is a household name thanks to her strong presence on the small screen. The actress is known for having a huge fan following. The ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actress was locked in ‘Big Boss‘ season 12 house and she yet again won million hearts with her performance on the show. Among all the contestants, Hina made her way to the finale, but it was Shilpa Shinde who bagged the trophy of the show. Hina was apparently paid a whopping sum of  Rs 1.75 crores for her appearance in the show. On the other hand, winner Shilpa reportedly charged around Rs 1.29 crores.

Bigg Boss Season 10: Rahul Dev

Popularly known as the bad boy of Bollywood, Rahul Dev featured in the 10th season of ‘Bigg Boss’. As per reports, the actor charged a whopping sum of Rs. 2 crores for participating in the show. While on the other hand, the winner of the show Manveer Gurjar participated in the show as a commoner and took home a total sum of Rs.40 lakhs as prize money.

Bigg Boss Season 9: Rimi Sen

The beautiful actress was a part of ‘Bigg Boss’ season 9. Soon after taking part in the show, Rimi presented herself as a not-so-enthusiastic contestant. Apparently, the actress was paid a whopping Rs. 2 crores as a signing amount. On the other hand, the winner of this season, Prince Narula charged a sum of Rs. 10 lakhs as a signing amount.

Bigg Boss Season 8: Karishma Tanna

This pretty actress was one of the finalists of season 8, but she lost the trophy to Gautam Gulati. However, the ‘Naagin 3’ actress was paid a whopping price of Rs. 10 lakhs per week to appear on the show. The winner of the show, Gautam had apparently charged Rs. 8 lakhs per week for his stay in the house.

Bigg Boss Season 7: Tanishaa Mukerji

Tanishaa Mukerji appeared in the seventh season of ‘Bigg Boss’. Within 10 weeks of her stay in the house, she earned more than the winner of the show. As per reports, she was paid a whopping price of  Rs. 7.5 lakhs per week. Gauahar Khan lifted the trophy in this season. She participated in the show mid-way and fetched around Rs. 6 lakhs per week as per reports.

Bigg Boss Season 6: Navjot Singh Sidhu

The former Indian cricketer, Navjot Singh Sidhu was also a part of the ‘Bigg Boss’ house. Reportedly he had signed the show for Rs. 4 lakh per week and he stayed in the house for about five weeks. The ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ actress Urvashi Dholakia who bagged the trophy had charged Rs. 2.5 lakhs per week as per reports.

Bigg Boss Season 4: Pamela Anderson 

This Hollywood actress, Pamela Anderson was apparently paid a whopping sum of Rs. 2.5 crores for her three days stay in the house. Television actress Shweta Tiwari, who won in this season, was reportedly paid Rs. 5 lakh per week for her stay in the house.
