Bigg Boss OTT is hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar and the latest Sunday Ka Vaar episode saw lots of drama in the house. Also, Karan made a big revelation on the episode as he opened up about battling anxiety attacks. He was reprimanding Zeeshan Khan when he told Khan that he might not know what anxiety attacks can do to a person but Karan understands the situation better because he has gone through the treatments. He also told the actor that people need to show compassion and understanding in that situation. Karan even confessed to going to a psychologist and revealed being on medication for three years.

Karan said, “It disturbs me to see how terms like anxiety and mental health issues are spoken about. Don’t talk about it if you don’t know.” He even said that there are people who go through this on a daily basis.

For the unversed, this is not the first time Karan has spoken about his mental health. Earlier, in an interview with Barkha Dutt for NDTV, he revealed his clinical depression. He had said, “I have read people speaking openly about their depression. There was a phase in my life when I was really depressed. When I went through that phase, I thought I am getting a cardiac arrest. I felt it in the middle of a meeting two and half years ago, after which I left the meeting in between saying I have something urgent to do and rushed to the doctor. He then said I am having an anxiety attack. I went to a psychologist post that. Then I realised that I had some internal issues to deal with, which got built up to such point that it resulted in anxiety.”
