Raqesh Bapat is considered one of the most underrated actors on Indian television. Bigg Boss OTT will be Raqesh‘s second reality show after Nach Baliye. In a candid interview with Bollywood Bubble, Raqesh spoke about why he decided to take a Bigg boss OTT, being mentally prepared for the challenges being thrown at him, his personal life being discussed on the show, divorce and relationship issues with Riddhi Dogra, and much more. Raqesh also spoke about why he decided to take a sabbatical from the small screen. Lastly, Raqesh also spoke about coping up with his father’s demise and taking up the responsibility of the family.
Raqesh and Riddhi were together for the longest time before they announced their separation in 2018. The couple was married for several years. They released a mutual statement clarifying that it was a personal decision taken by then and they continue to be cordial. When we asked Raqesh if he is prepared for his personal life being discussed in BB or used against him, he said that whatever happened in his personal life is out there in open. “My personal life has been very straightforward. It was nothing that you can discuss or pelt stone at. We have been completely out there about why the breakup happened and the divorce that followed, was out and we have explained to everyone. It was respectfully done.”

“We are both matured people and we have done the correct thing that we had to do for each other. There is no mud-slinging for whatever sake. We are still in touch, I still call her. So, I don’t see any problem with my personal life being discussed because I don’t have any past apart from this,” Raqesh Bapat said while speaking about his relationship with Riddhi Dogra.

He also shared that external things never matter to him and it is only the opinions of people who matter to him that affect him. “I am very strong-headed that way,” he shared.
