EXCLUSIVE: Donal Bisht reveals if she would ever date Umar Riaz

Actress Donal Bisht had developed a sweet bond of friendship with Bigg Boss 15 contestant Umar Riaz, during her stint on the show. At first, during the grand premiere of BB 15, the duo did not fancy each other. Donal chose Ieshaan Sehgaal over Umar Riaz during a task. However, Donal Bisht and Umar Riaz became friends later, after spending a few days in the Bigg Boss 15 house. In an exclusive chat with us, Donal Bisht spoke about the bond between Umar Riaz and her. She opened up about how they went from fighting with each other on Day 1 to becoming friends on the show.

Speaking with Bollywood Bubble, Donal Bisht said she knows Umar Riaz better. When she was asked if she would like to know him better, the actress said, “I know him better.” She added, “Dosti hai, woh mujhe samjhe hai. I am really grateful. Unhone mera stand bhi liya. Woh bhi thode waise hai, ki jaha pe hawa hai, wahape hum thoda sa beh jaate hai.”

Donal further said, “Main Umar ko bolungi, stay strong. Aap logon ke haan mein haan na milao. Jo aapko lagta hai woh karo. (I will tell Umar, stay strong. Don’t agree with everyone. Do what you feel is right.) Otherwise, he is a good person.”

Donal Bisht opened up the time when she took a stand for Afsana Khan, after which Umar and she started talking to each other. Talking about the same, she shared how it was Shamita Shetty, Vishal Kotian and others who asked her to not stand in support of Afsana Khan.

Later, Donal revealed how Umar came up to her and spoke to her after he saw her taking a stand for Afsana and standing by her. Opening up about how they started talking, Donal said, “So, Umar ne yeh dekha, and Umar ne uske baad mujhse baat ki. Ki yaar tu acchi ladki hai, and be like that only. Phir uske baad baatein humhari shuru hui. And he is also nice. Yeh ‘Urmal’ kab hua, mujhe kuch samjh mein nahi aa raha. (So, Umar saw that and after that, Umar spoke to me. He said ‘You are a nice girl and be like that only’. Then after that, we started talking. And he is so nice. But I don’t know when ‘Urmal’ (a name given by fans) became.”

Meanwhile, Umar Riaz also had tears in his eyes when he had to take Donal’s name during the nominations. Even after Donal was eliminated from the show, he was seen having a low phase.
