Exclusive: Vishal Kotian opens up on mocking Raqesh Bapat with ‘bada haath maara’ comment

Bigg Boss 15 contestant Vishal Kotian was recently evicted from the Salman Khan hosted show. In a shocking elimination the actor made an exit from the BB house with Jay Bhanushali and Neha Bhasin. In the Bigg Boss 15 house, Vishal Kotian who is close to Shamita Shetty made a shocking statement about her beau Raqesh Bapat that created a storm.

In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Vishal Kotian has reacted to what he said about Raqesh Bapat.

When asked about his controversial statements about Raqesh and Shamita’s relationship, he clarified saying, “It should be taken as a roast. If you feel bad for that then half of the industry would want to kill Kapil Sharma, because he roasts people.”

He added, “A joke should be taken as a joke, it cannot be taken as a statement. It was a roast done on seven people based on a scene from Satte Pe Satta. So it was not only Raqesh but also six others that I made fun of. It should have been taken a joke.”

For the unversed, Vishal Kotian, along with contestants Karan Kundrra, Tejasswi Prakash and Umar Riaz, made fun of Raqesh. Speaking about Bapat’s relation with Shamita, Vishal said, “Bohot bada haath maara hai apne bhai ne. Seedha woh Shilpa Shetty jo hai na, uski behen ko pata liya hai. Ab kya hai ki uske dum pe yeh show se woh show, woh show se yeh show karta rehta hai, uska chalta rahega.”
