Jaan Kumar Sanu was evicted from ‘Bigg Boss 14’ house last weekend. We had an interview with Jaan where he said that that he feels good to be back in the real world. He said that there were ups and downs in the journey but it was fantastic “once in a lifetime roller-coaster ride”.
You can watch the interview here.
On his eviction, Jaan said, “I think I started my game a bit too late and maybe that resulted in my elimination from the show. I did want to portray myself to the audience that I have my own set of game plans, I can be Bigg Boss material but I will have to kill my conscience for that kind of stuff. Given the fact that everybody in the house was playing a double, triple and a quadruple game. I think I was the only one who was not playing a game and somewhere that backfired on me because people mistook my obedience to be influenced and those tags that they associated with me sort of spread out into the real world. But overall I think the late gaming starting was probably the reason I got eliminated.”
He added, “The entire episode that happened with Nikki was a wake-up call for me because I have stood by as a friend to her since the beginning. I felt very hurt and disgusted when she put that entire accusation on me regarding the whole kissing incident which was very dirty and cheap publicity stunt I would say on her part because to degrade your friendship to that level where you have to use words and sentences of that manner to be visible on screen for a few minutes. I mean if you can make your friendship that expandable, I don’t think I would be able to be friends with anybody in that house given the fact that everyone in the house was playing their own game. That was the breaking point in my head. I should have seen the warning bells coming when she did the same thing with Rahul (Vaidya) in the oxygen mask task. She went below a level that nobody in the house ever expected. I was subjected to the same treatment because she went to a very derogatory level when it came to me as well and felt that if she claiming to be my friend can do that, then I don’t think I can trust anybody in the house and I had to be my own support. That’s when my game opened up and I started playing full-pledged and I did shine for two weeks but it was a bit late.”

When asked if he wants to reconcile with the contestants, Jaan said, “I have this issue of trusting people very easily and I have not been rewarded that much in the house. My trust was always rewarded with betrayal. I don’t see myself reconciling with anybody in the house. Although I am going to be in touch with three people from the house and they are-Shardul (Pandit), Eijaz bhai, and Pavitra (Punia). I really connected with them on a very humane level and to them, the game was not everything. They had a human side to them which I connected with and really found them to be good and nice people.”
