Shamita Shetty’s brother-in-law and Shilpa Shetty’s businessman husband Raj Kundra was arrested on 19 July in relation to the production and distribution of pornographic content via mobile apps and he is currently in 14-day judicial custody. Amidst this, when Shamita Shetty made her entry into the Bigg Boss house, her fans were wondering how she will get through during such a tough time. But, Shamita is a tough cookie as well as she said that she had already made a commitment and work should not stop, so give the recent events she has still stuck by her word and entered in Bigg Boss.
Shamita told Karan, “When the time is good or bad if we dont stop breathing so why should we stop our work. Honestly, I got the offer for Bigg Boss a long time back and I had made a commitment at that time. After that, so much happened and I definitely thought maybe it is not right to go in the Bigg Boss house right now. But I had done the commitment, aur ek baar jo meh commitment karti hu toh mein khud ki bhi nai sunti.”

Meanwhile, talking about Raj Kundra, the Bombay High Court has rejected his bail application as the bench said that Raj and his associates’ custody was within the conformity of law and did not require interference.
