Bipasha Basu, Devoleena, Tinaa Dattaa slam Tejasswi Prakash for age shaming Shamita Shetty

During a task of Bigg Boss 15, a huge argument arose when Tejasswi Prakash thought that Shamita Shetty is getting way too close to her boyfriend Karan Kundrra. The contestants were asked to entertain the live audience to gain maximum votes from them. On failing to do so, the contestant will be eliminated from the show. For the task, each contestant ensured to entertain the audience but things went downhill when Tejasswi locked horns with Shamita thinking that she was trying to get close to Karan. Amidst the fight, Teja called Shetty ‘aunty’ and this didn’t go down well.

Not just her, even netizens were extremely furious with the Swaragini actor who age-shamed Shamita. Having said that, even celebs like Bipasha Basu, Devoleena, Tinaa Datta and more slammed Tejasswi for age-shaming her. Basu tweeted, “Age shaming disgustingly, then saying sorry..beyond pathetic! If this is a winner for anyone or a role model it’s truly sad.If you are insecure attack your man who makes you feel insecure instead of pulling other women down #biggboss15 #shameful”

Yuvika Chaudhary took to her Instagram handle and wrote, “If she looks like an aunty then everyone sud look like this only, because she is cute, fit, beautiful, young, intelligent.. combination of all my fav”. Devoleena Bhattacharjee who recently got eliminated tweeted, “I assume Anil if you all know me. It was a wrong statement by #teja. And also if u call someone aunty please show that respect too. Because aunty cud be your maasi, bua, or anyone whom u shows respect, not to age shame, demean or degrade. And Shamita is hot anyway.”

Karanvir Bohra tweeted, “Ive supported you from the beginning @itsmetejasswi & still do,but u should really have some respect 4 people, it was not a nice thing you said2 @ShamitaShetty I also heard that u said I take it back, but pls be careful of what you speak. Words are etched for life #BiggBoss15“.

I did pull her for what she said, but I respect the fact that she apologized and sadly no one spoke about she apologizing to @ShamitaShetty
