Krishna Mukherjee twins with sister in orange bikini, recalls how they were body-shamed during childhood days

Krishna Mukherjee, who is set to tie the knot soon, has been sharing her pictures on Instagram and keeping fans updated. The Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress is currently in Phuket to celebrate her bachelorhood with besties. On Tuesday, Krishna took to her Instagram and shared a bunch of pictures with her sister, Saru. The actress penned a long note as she revealed how they were always compared to each other in their childhood.

In the photos shared by Krishna, she can be seen enjoying her time on the beach with sister Saru. The sisters twinned in orange bikinis. Bride-to-be Krishna sizzled in an orange bikini paired with pearl earrings and sunglasses. On the other hand, Sara stunned in a orange and pink bikini paired with black sunglasses.

Krishna, who is known to speak her mind, stated that the sisters were always compared during childhood days. The actress shared their bikini pics and wrote, “Short or Tall, Fat or Thin, Dark or Fair, Skin Show or Covered… Society has always dictated the traits, features of women & objectified their bodies as they pleased, constantly Judge! It’s time we learn women bodies are not sexual objects & respect personal choices.”

The actress added, “We both sisters were constantly compared with each other when we were just kids, how I’m so fair & she’s not and how she’s so tall & I’m not. As little girls, instead of channeling our energies towards playing & growing, we were forced to compare & complete.”

Krishna continued, “I understand, social media is open for all to have a freedom of speech but please choose kindness before uttering something. It’s time we stop projecting our own insecurities & low self esteem on others.”

The actress ended her note by saying, “We wish you well, hope we maintain dignity & grace here.”
