EXCLUSIVE: Anuja Joshi opens up on Sonia Rathee and Sidharth Shukla’s chemistry in Broken But Beautiful

One of the most successful OTT franchises, Broken But Beautiful was loved by everyone and it still tops the rating charts. The beautiful original soundtrack of the franchise is the most popular amongst the fans. As we all know, season 3 of the series will star the heartthrob Sidharth Shukla and newbie Sonia Rathee.

The makers have already shared some working stills from the series this Valentine’s Day and it has only raised the expectations and anticipation. Bollywood Bubble has spoken to Anuja Joshi whose series Hello Mini 2 just dropped on MX Player. Anuja is the would-be sister-in-law of Sonia since she is dating Sonia’s brother actor Ankur Rathee.

Speaking about Sonia being part of Broken 3, Anuja says, “We all are extremely proud of the fact is Sonia is going to be a part of Broken 3. I remember when I just had finished the shooting of Hello Mini 2 and was coming out from the shooting bubble, I called up Sonia and we met for a dinner. Harleen Sethi is a very dear friend of mine and she joined us for dinner that day to surprise Sonia. We three had a great time that night, we chatted for a long time.”

So will Sidharth and Sonia bring some magical chemistry to the series? “Both Harleen and I have done our bit and now it’s Sonia’s turn, she is very talented. When talking to Sonia, I constantly emphasized that she deserves to be here and that’s why she has got this opportunity. Harleen also shared some nice things to Sonia which I don’t want to comment because that’s Harleen’s part of story. I can surely say audience will not be disappointed with her contribution to the show,” shared Anuja.

Anuja herself was part of Broken 2 and she has surprised the viewers with her portrayal of Debbie, who is like a breath of fresh air in Veer’s (Vikrant Massey) dreadful life. So any regrets on not being part of season 3? “Not really. Maybe when season 4 will come, I can convince the makers to cast me. It’s a wonderful franchise,” signs off the actress who is currently in the US and working for a Hollywood show.
