Cannes 2022: Hina Khan is glowing in gold in the French Riviera

Hina Khan brought glory to India as she walked on the red carpet of  the Cannes Film Festival 2022, marking her second appearance at the prestigious film festival after 2019. The actress has been stealing hearts with her drop-dead gorgeous looks and outfits during her stay at the French Riviera and her latest look has just left the audience in awe of her beauty.

Hina Khan dropped her latest pictures on social media from Cannes 2022, posing in the streets of France in a golden strapless dress and the actress is looking ethereal in them. Her minimally accessorised look, comprising of big pearl earrings and a hair bun is just accentuating her beauty. She is complementing her surroundings and seems to be completely fitting in the beautiful location. For the uninitiated, the actress is there to present the poster of her upcoming Indo-English film, Country of Blind by Rahat Kazmi.

She has been setting some benchmarks with her Cannes look everyday. Starting from her flowy red gown to her striking black dress and the off-shoulder lavender gown on the red carpet yesterday, Hina has been making some serious style statements with her outfits catching the eye of the audience not just in India, but globally.

While there at Cannes, Hina had recently given an interview to Film Companion where she had revealed that she wanted to attend the opening ceremony of the film festival, even if as an audience member, but she wasn’t given an invite to it. When asked why her stardom and success on TV didn’t translate as well on screen, she agreed that it is a harder game to play. “Yes, it is. When you don’t get access to events, when you don’t get a simple invite despite being part of that fraternity, how am I expected to audition then? But things have changed. I do get noticed by good filmmakers. I don’t ask them for projects, I don’t ask them for auditions, I only ask them for the opportunity and tell them that they might like me. Reputed filmmakers have contacted me and asked if I would like to give them a screen test. That makes a difference, it makes me feel nice. Whether or not you get selected is different, but at least they’re thinking of you, they’re calling you. After my debut walk at Cannes, a lot of people in India wanted to interview me, they wanted to spend time with me.”
