Mukesh Khanna to Rajinikanth- Celebrities who refused to go to ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’

The Kapil Sharma Show is one of the funniest shows on television. Comedy King Kapil Sharma is known for his rib-tickling humour and his amazing cast that includes Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh, Kiku Sharda and many more. The show is always known to be star-studded and the fans are always guessing who is going to grace the show next. TKSS is the go-to platform when it comes to promoting a movie for Bollywood stars and other celebrities.

But, there have been a select few who have declined or refrained from going on the show

Mukesh Khanna

Mukesh Khanna had made quite the headlines when he refused to be part of the ‘Mahabharat’ reunion on TKSS. Revealing when he turned down the invite, he said, “The reason is that even though the Kapil Show is popular all over the country, I do not think there is a worse show than this. This show is full of fuhadpana, full of double meaning words, taking a turn towards vulgarity with every moment. In which the men wear women’s clothes, do cheap things and people laugh, holding their stomachs.”

Rajinikanth

Thalaiva Rajinikanth has also been invited to The Kapil Sharma Show, but he reportedly never accepted the invite.

Lata Mangeshkar

Similarly, the “nightingale” of India, the legendary singer, Lata Mangeshkar has also been invited by TKSS but she has politely declined the offer.

MS Dhoni

From legends like Kapil Dev to aces cricketers like Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh have been part of the show but it was reported that MS Dhoni has always had a busy schedule and that is why he has turned down the invite multiple times.

Sachin Tendulkar

Apart from MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar was also turned down an invite from TKSS due to his busy schedule. Even his wife was in a tight spot despite being invited by Navjot Singh Sidhu.
