Charu Asopa reveals her decision to divorce Rajeev Sen was ‘not taken in haste’

Actor Charu Asopa has decided to end her marriage with her husband Rajeev Sen via the legal route. In her previous interview, Charu mentioned that she will divorce Rajeev Sen. Moreover, the Mere Angne Mein actor recently revealed that she sent a notice to Rajeev Sen on June 7. She thinks that Rajeev is hampering her reputation by spreading lies. Now, she recently shared a video on her YouTube channel, revealing that her decision to divorce Rajeev was not taken in haste.

“I am well aware of what I doing,” the Mahadev actor said in her vlog. Charu Asopa elaborated on the matter, mentioning that she is doing it for her daughter Ziana. “I know you people have doubts and questions about my decision (of getting a divorce). Some people think I am wrong but I’d like to say I have thought through everything. It’s a decision not taken in haste or in an emotional state. I am well aware of what I am doing and I feel it’s right. It’s not for me but for Ziana,” she further added.

Charu concluded, “I am sure you’d understand me and continue to support me. I just want to add that things that cannot reach their destination should be left at a beautiful turn.”

Earlier, Charu mentioned that she wants a separation from Sushmita Sen’s brother Rajeev as she doesn’t want her daughter to grow up in a toxic and abusive environment.

“I sent him a simple notice asking for an amicable separation, as there is nothing left in our relationship. I want to part ways because I don’t want my daughter to grow up in a toxic and abusive environment. I don’t want her to see people hurling abuses at each other,” Charu had said in an interview with TOI.
