Dinesh Phadnis, who played the role of Fredericks in the popular TV show CID, is hospitalised in Mumbai. He is on a ventilator support. Dayanand Shetty, who played the role of Daya in CID, recently shared an update on his co-star’s health. He dismissed the reports claiming that Dinesh suffered a heart attack. For the uninitiated, the 57-year-old actor is admitted to Tunga Hospital in Mumbai.

Dayanand Shetty shared an update on his CID co-star Dinesh’s health and told Indian Express, “Dinesh Phadnis is hospitalised and on a ventilator, doctors are observing him. He has not suffered a heart attack, it is a different treatment and I wouldn’t like to comment on it.”

Dinesh Phadnis was a part of CID for 20 years. The show also starred Shivaji Satam, Shraddha Musale, Ansha Sayed, and Aditya Srivastava among others. In October, Dinesh shared a photo with the entire team members of CID. Apart from CID, Dinesh Phadnis was also seen in the hit TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He had a cameo in TMKOC. That’s not all, Dinesh has worked in films like Sarfarosh and Super 30.
