CID fame Dinesh Phadnis passes away: Co-stars Shivaji Satam, Shraddha Musle, Vivek Mashru, and others offer condolences

CID actor Dinesh Phadnis who essayed the role of Fredrick AKA Freddy Sir passed away on 4^th December at the age of 57 due to multi-organ failure. The news of his death was confirmed by co-star Dayanand Shetty. Shocked by the untimely demise of Dinesh Phadnis, his CID co-stars took to their social media and extended their heartfelt condolences.

Taking to their respective social media handle, Shivaji Satam, Vivek Mashru, Shraddha Musle, among other CID co-stars expressed their condolences on Dinesh Phadnis untimely demise.

Actor Shivaji Satam, who starred as ACP Pradyuman in CID, posted a collage and wrote, “Dinesh Phadnis, simple, humble, lovable.”

On Tuesday, Ajay Nagrath, who played a pivotal role in ‘CID’ took to Instagram to share the unfortunate news. He wrote, “Can’t believe you left us for heavenly abode. Rest in peace Freddy Sir you’re forever in our hearts. Om Shanti (sic).” Alongside the note, Ajay also shared a few stills of himself with Dinesh from the sets of ‘CID’.

Taking to Instagram, Vivek Mashru, who played a pivotal role in CID, posted a throwback picture of himself with Dinesh Phadnis. “Miss You Freddy Sir RIP #rip #dineshphadnis #cid,” he wrote.

Actress Tanya Abrol recalled her experience working with Dinesh and got emotional. “Dearest Dinesh sir or how we all called him Freddy sir with love and affection. A person who made so many people laugh, be it onscreen or in real life and now that you are gone…Even then we are smiling and laughing thinking about all the stories and incidents but with teary eyes. A roller coaster of emotions. May your journey ahead be peaceful. You will be missed tremendously, not just by us and family but also by millions of your fans .
