After travelling outside of Mumbai for a gig, comedian and actor Sunil Pal disappeared for a few hours. His wife was unable to get in touch with him. Sunil Pal’s wife Sarita confirms his message of being safe
Comedian Sunil Pal was found safe after being reported missing by his wife Sarita. She also confirmed that he contacted her via message. “Sunil ji se baat ho gayee. He has spoken to the police”. (I have spoken to Sunil ji. He has also spoken to the police), according to reports from Viral Bhayani.
Mumbai police are now investigating the facts of the case. Several reports suggest that Sunil Pal had travelled outside Mumbai for a show and was expected to return home on December 3. However, when he did not return, his wife, Sarita, was concerned as she was unable to connect with him via call.
Speaking to ETimes, Film Trade analyst Girish Wankhede talked about Sunil’s post that he was found safe. He said, “He (Sunil) told me there was a problem but he is out of it. He is now taking a flight from Delhi to Mumbai.”
Sunil Pal also shared a video on social media the day before he went missing where he can be seen sitting on a boat, wearing a safety jacket, along with other people. The video is apparently from the event he attended outside Mumbai. He wrote in the caption, “NadiyaKePaar #Sunilpalcomedian #Standupcomedy #fun #evernt #show #function.” This was the last post of him.
Sunil is known for his comic roles in Bollywood films such as Bombay to Goa, Kick, Money Back Guarantee, Dirty Politics and more.
He has written and directed Bhavnao Ko Samjho in 2010. The show featured 51 stand-up comedians, including Siraj Khan, Johnny Lever, Raju Srivastav, Kapil Sharma, Navin Prabhakar, Ahsaan Qureshi, Sudesh lehri and many more.
