Coronavirus crisis: ‘Bigg Boss 13’ contestant Shehnaaz Gill and brother Shehbaaz stranded in Mumbai hotel

Shehnaaz Gill was one of the most talked-about contestants in ‘Bigg Boss 13’ house. She garnered a humongous fan following after she stint on the show. The actress hails from Punjab and the outbreak of Coronavirus has made things difficult for her.

Shehnaaz and her brother Shehbaaz have been facing immense difficulty as they are stuck in a Mumbai hotel due to the pandemic.

According to a report by Spotboye, the ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karoge’ star is stranded in a hotel in Mumbai with her sibling. It is no secret that the last few episodes of the show were shot in a hurry given the lockdown was about to be imposed. Shoots were coming to a halt from March 19 and before that, the makers wrapped the show. But, even after the show ended, Shehnaaz could not return back to Punjab.

Her father, Santokh Singh told the entertainment portal, “Shehnaaz has a 1-year contract with Colors TV and plans to do another show with them, so she waited back in Mumbai post ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karoge’ for those meetings. After a certain point, it was not safe to travel anyway.”

Singh added that he misses his children but he knows that they are in safe hands. “Of course, I miss them. First, they were inside for ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karoge’ and then this lockdown happened. But I don’t feel worried. We are in constant touch through video calls. Plus, Colors is taking good care of them.”

Well, we hope both Shehnaaz and Shehbaaz, make it back to their home safe and sound after the lockdown is lifted.
